At Bloom Paris, our bedding collection includes square and rectangular cushions, both large and small, as well as bedcovers and quilts. Our quilts and bedcovers are crafted in our workshop in Pondicherry. They are made from cotton voile, stitched both by machine and by hand using traditional Indian techniques. The cushions are made in Pondicherry and in Paris. They are cotton, always finished with a matching piped edge. We also regularly bring back suzanis and kanthas from India. Suzanis are decorative embroidered textiles from Central Asia. Kanthas are literally patchwork fabrics—made from old saris, hand-stitched in free-form patterns. The most beautiful ones are also the oldest, and may show signs of wear. They can be used as bedspreads, sofa throws, wall hangings, or even tablecloths.
